The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner “couldn’t care less” about his ex Kaitlynn Carter hooking up with Miley Cyrus, according to a new report. Jenner and Carter announced their split just days before the pics surfaced of Carter and Cyrus making out in Europe, but insiders say Jenner “doesn’t have a care in the world,” and he is not interested in what Carter is doing.
The 35-year-old Jenner has also moved on quickly and is currently dating 22-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Josie Canseco. A source claims that Jenner’s relationship with Carter was “toxic,” and “he hated his life with her,” and now he is “living it up” with Canseco.

According to People Magazine, Jenner and Carter were having problems long before their wedding ceremony in 2018. The couple wed in Indonesia in front of 50 of their closest friends and family members. However, the marriage was never legal, so they do not have to file for divorce.
“Their wedding day was this obligatory thing he felt he had to do, but they were already miserable,” explains the insider. “Brody and Kaitlynn have had issues for years. It is no secret amongst those who knew them. And the show was not good for them.”
The source says that things got so bad, Carter moved out before they started filming The Hills reboot, but she eventually moved back in. However, filming the reality show magnified a lot of their issues and made it clear things weren’t going to work out between them.
In addition to the paparazzi pics of Carter and Cyrus’ makeout session on Lake Como, the 30-year-old has been posting pics of the vacation on social media. But, just because Carter has shown some PDA with Cyrus, it doesn’t mean she is bisexual or fluid, says the source.
“Kaitlynn just wants to p*ss off Brody,” claims the insider. “She and Miley aren’t dating, but they’re both separated from their husband and bonding over everything that’s going on. They’ve joined forces.”

A second source agreed, saying the two friends are “just having fun,” and Cyrus refers to Carter as her friend, not her girlfriend. The insider added that the vacation was just a fun time with friends, and everyone was partying and enjoying cocktails.
As for Jenner, he met Canseco – the daughter of retired MLB star Jose Canseco – through his costar Frankie Delgado when they were in New York this summer. Jenner and Canseco have already made a public appearance together when they stepped out for a night of partying at Warwick in Los Angeles.

Cyrus and her husband, Liam Hemsworth, also announced their split just hours after the Lake Como photos surfaced. The 26-year-old has just released a new song about letting go, titled Slide Away.
