Nimrata Randhawa or “Nikki Haley” (born January 20, 1972) is an American Politician from Bamberg, South Carolina. She serves as a 29th United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Recently, Nikki told to a reporter in the Oval Office that she is going to leave her US ambassador post by the end of the year.
In fact, she also served as the 116th Governor of South Carolina. The Politician remained the first female and second Indian American governor of South Carolina. Furthermore, she is a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Haley started her career by working for FCR Corporation. In 1998, she became the board of directors of the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce. Later, in 2003, Nimrata worked as a treasurer of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
During the 2012 presidential campaign, Mitt Romney considered (Republican nominee) Haley as a potential vice presidential. But she turned down the offer as she was the governor of South Carolina.
